Here are some fruits I’ve not had anywhere else. The red fruit is called “lian wu” (English name: “wax apple”). They are so, so, so, so good. The smaller green ones are dates which I’ve not had in this fresh, green form. I don’t remember the name of the larger green fruit. One thing all these fruits have in common is their crispness and juiciness. So delicious! For sure, I’ll be craving lian wu once I’m outta here. Taipei, Taiwan. (March, 2008)
